No Tricks or Treats

Our new apartment building has several families living in it. A lot of these families have children so we decided to buy a big bag of candy for Halloween. We bought it last weekend and were very careful not to break into it ourselves and eat all the candy before Halloween. I got home around 6 tonight, changed clothes, grabbed the bag of candy and prepared for knocks on our door or the ringing of our doorbell. Not one knock. Not one ring. I think a lot of the families drove to a more "residential" neighborhood to go trick-or-treating. Oh well. More M & M's,  Snickers, Twix and Starbursts for us. Watch...next year we won't buy any candy and have lots of costumed characters show up.
